What is a Pestemal?

A pestemal is the authentic Turkish bath towel. These lightweight, flat-woven towels originate from the steamy Turkish bath where a thick towel just wouldn't do.  

They are lightweight and extremely absorbent, making them a practical, earth-friendly towel for the modern home.
